“Let’s Light the sky one day,” was what Elizabeth Alvarez Stojkovic’s Aunt told her as they watched the Disney movie Tangled.
Remember this scene.
Unfortunately, Elizabeth’s Aunt died January 2012 from Leukemia and they never got the opportunity to light the sky. But in memory of her Aunt’s dream, she created this AMAZING event called ‘Light the Sky,’ and in February of this year, she gathered a whole bunch of people to set the sky ablaze with lanterns dedicated to loved ones lost.
Well she’s doing it again but this time around, the focus is to bring awareness to another life threatening disease called Cystic Fibrosis (CF) that about 1000 people in the US are diagnosed with every year and more than 70% of them being children.
The event will take place on—
June 30, 2012 (ITS COMING UP!!!)
So get your ass out there, do something positive, meet some great people, hear some great music and lets raise awareness.

it will be a great event
It will be! I’m excited
Thank you. I wish I had known about it in advance, but I did get to see the effect, as we were having dinner outside a Greek Restaurant near the Park in Astoria. It was spectacular.
