Norma Merrick Sklarek

Taking time to say Thank You and Good-bye to a Pioneer.

Norma Merrick Sklarek, the first African American Woman Architect died on Monday, February 6 at her home in Pacific Palisades due to heart failure.

She was 85.

Her notable work includes:

~City Hall in San Bernardino, California
~Fox Plaza in San Francisco
~Terminal One at the Los Angeles International Airport
~U.S. Embassy in Tokyo
